Since 2023 Capucine Barcellona is a Contributing Editor at Points. Capu is a global health researcher at the National University of Singapore interested in health equity, community-based care, drug policy and harm reduction. Her current research covers healthcare financing and health systems in Southeast Asia. She has a background in medical anthropology - specifically focusing on cross-cultural understandings of mental health - and research on bioethics & new biomedical technologies. Capu is passionate about mental wellness and gender & LGBTQ+ advocacy. She is also a Latin ballroom dancer and interested in the interaction of physical and mental health.
