The Roundtable will feature presentations by:

  2. Miriam Kingsberg Kadia, University of Colorado Boulder, “The Historiography of Drugs in East Asia”;

  3. Emily Dufton, George Washington University, “Still Searching for the Holy Grail: The Long History of Medication Assisted Treatment in the US”;

  4. Lucas Richert, University of Wisconsin–Madison,“The Intersection of Drug History and Pharmacy History.”

The “Past, Present, and Future of Drug History” Roundtable is co-sponsored by the Alcohol and Drugs History Society and by the Virginia Tech University College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, the Virginia Tech Department of History, and the Center for Humanities at Virginia Tech.
